Metal strike plate to be placed in the door frame opposite the lock. This model does not have an internal magnet and is therefore to be used in combination with mechanical locks with a central latch bolt normally used in reversible doors.

WARNING: For mechanical locks - NOT MAGNETIC

The matte chrome-plated metal plate comes with a plastic socket to conceal the milled wood in the door jamb. This piece can be removed, allowing the plate to be used alone.
