Please note: The lock tongue comes out automatically when the door is in the closed position. With the door open, even if you turn the key, the tongue does not come out (giving the impression of being defective as it is different from common locks). With the door closed, however, turning the key blocks the handle, preventing the door from opening. If the door does not close, the defect may be in the "hook" that has lost the magnet behind it or that it is misaligned or too far from the lock. If in doubt, contact us.
