The Yale AGB lock with 50 mm backset and 85 mm center distance is the ideal solution for internal and external doors requiring reliability and durability. Made with robust mechanics, it features an elegant and wear-resistant matte satin chrome finish. The 18x238 mm front plate ensures perfect adaptability to market standards.

This lock is suitable for:

• wooden doors and security doors with standard measurements

• replacements and new installations

• domestic and professional use

The photos show the standard model with a metal latch and the new model that replaces the previous one with two nylon bands on the latch, making it quieter and providing a better user experience. From 2025, the new model with a metal and nylon latch will be supplied. The 2 models are perfectly interchangeable.

With this lock, a door with a normal patent key (thus low security) is transformed into a high-security door, as a Yale cylinder (not supplied) can be added and easily replaced, which can also be high security (e.g., coded, non-reproducible keys, etc.)

To make this replacement from a patent lock to a Yale cylinder, it will be necessary to modify the door leaf to allow the insertion of the cylinder and change the escutcheons, which have a different shape)
